Value Chain Day

Thursday, 13 June 2024

The Value Chain Day, which is being held for the first time as part of the DLG Field Days, brings together all stages of processing in a way that is accessible to the public. The focus will be on discussions on issues relating to increasing the added value of domestic plant-based products as well as cross-industry bilateral exchange at the subsequent get-together in a cosy atmosphere.

How do we manage to market German baking wheat with added value for everyone involved?

What are the trends and marketing opportunities for the new superfoods made from legumes?

What are the marketing prospects
for the organic sector?

These and other questions will be discussed at the DLG Plaza Stage (Stand VG 15) in our first-ever format with representatives from agriculture, the processing industry and the agricultural and food retail sectors on Value Chain Day. Take the opportunity to find out about different positions and points of view and to network with players along the entire processing chain at the joint get-together. Make new contacts with farmers, processors or representatives of the food retail trade. Expand your business environment and gain interesting insights into ‘plant cultivation out of the box’ during your visit to the 55-hectare outdoor area.

Further highlights on this topic will also take place on this day in the DLG forums as part of the specialist programme.
